Subprocessors
The trusted companies that help us deliver Swa, and our two commitments that apply to all of them.
To deliver Swa, we work with a small set of trusted companies ("subprocessors") that process data on our behalf under contracts requiring them to protect it. This page lists them. We update it when the list changes — see "Stay notified" below.
Two commitments that apply to everyone on this page:
- We never train AI models on your data, and neither do the AI providers below. We connect to them only through enterprise connections that prohibit training on your content, and we use zero-data-retention configurations where available.
- Your message goes to the AI only long enough to answer you. The AI providers don't keep it.
Our company and affiliate
Swa is operated by Swa Technology Inc. (a Delaware corporation, headquartered in Vancouver, Washington) and its wholly owned subsidiary Swa Worldwide AI Private Limited (India), which helps operate, support, and manage the Service under the same data-protection commitments.
| Affiliate | What it does | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Swa Worldwide AI Private Limited | Platform operations, support, and data management on Swa's behalf | India |
AI model providers
When you make a request, Swa sends your input and the context needed to answer to the AI model selected for the task. None of these providers use your data to train their models.
| Provider | What it does | Location | Trains on your data? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Anthropic (Claude) | Generates AI responses | United States | No |
| OpenAI (GPT) | Generates AI responses | United States | No |
| Google (Gemini, via Vertex AI) | Generates AI responses | United States | No |
| xAI (Grok) | Generates AI responses | United States | No |
| Perplexity (Sonar) | Generates AI responses with web search | United States | No |
| Together.ai | Hosts open models (such as Llama and DeepSeek) | United States | No |
| Amazon Web Services (Bedrock) | Generates AI responses (e.g., Llama) | United States | No |
Note on open models: models labeled "DeepSeek" or "Llama" run on Together.ai or AWS Bedrock in the United States. Your data is never sent to a DeepSeek-operated service.
Your organization can restrict which providers, regions, or HIPAA-eligible models are used.
Infrastructure and service providers
| Provider | What it does | Location | Data involved |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | Cloud hosting and storage | United States | All platform data |
| Stripe | Payment processing | United States | Billing and account contact data |
| Twilio | Text-message (SMS) delivery | United States | Phone number and message content |
| Google Analytics | Website analytics | United States | Device and usage data |
Data-processing terms
Every provider above operates under a data-processing agreement (or equivalent terms) that limits their use of data to providing their service to Swa. For customers handling protected health information (PHI), Swa maintains HIPAA Business Associate Agreements with the subset of providers used in our HIPAA-eligible processing path; contact us for the current BAA-covered list.
Services you connect (not Swa subprocessors)
When you connect a third-party tool (for example, your single-sign-on provider, Google Drive, Box, Slack, or Microsoft Teams), you direct Swa to exchange data with it. Those services are controlled by you and governed by their own terms — they are not Swa subprocessors.
